23 D.202 seniors earn national recognition as Hispanic, National African American scholars

Twenty-three District 202 high school seniors have earned recognition as scholars in the 2022-23 National Hispanic Recognition Program and the National African American Recognition Program based on their excellent academic performance.

Students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher; who have excelled on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test; or earned a score of 3 or higher on two or more Advanced Placement exams, and are African American, Black, or Hispanic American or Latinx are invited to apply for the recognition.

These National Recognition Programs grant underrepresented students with academic honors that can be included on college and scholarship applications.

Colleges use the distinction to identify academically exceptional Hispanic/Latino and African American students.

There is no scholarship awarded with this College Board-sponsored program.
